⋆ Naked Cosmetics Urban Rustic Trio Pressed Eyeshadow Palette ⋆ REVIEW & SWATCHES
Naked Cosmetics Urban Rustic Trio Pressed Eyeshadow Palette (retails for $39.99, on sale for $19.99) features three earthy-toned metallic shades. I got this cute little palette from one of the previous Boxycharm subscription boxes. I have never tried this brand before, and I am very impressed by the quality.
The palette comes in a black, plastic compact with a mirror included. The packaging is small and travel-friendly.
The formula of these three shadows is buttery and smooth. It only takes one light-handed swipe to get the ultra-metallic, intense color payoff. The pigmentation is just dreamy! The texture is soft and easy to blend out/build up. There are no large sparkles, just pure metallic sheen. The color selection of this trio is warm and earthy-toned. The three shades include a kiwi-like green, a copper, and a medium purple. However, I do need to use an additional transition shade from other palettes to explore the full potential of this trio.
The transition shade I used for this makeup is called Stunner from PUR Cosmetics Soiree Diaries Eyeshadow Palette, and you can click here to read the review about it. The white glitter on my inner eye corner is from Jolie Beauty Bomb Dot Com Glitter Palette, and I will write a review about that in the near future.
Overall, I really enjoy Naked Cosmetics Urban Rustic Trio Pressed Eyeshadow Palette. Both of the color and formula are gorgeous. I do not mind the need for grabbing extra transition shades when I use this trio because I always like to mix up multiple palettes for more interesting makeups. My first encounter with Naked Cosmetics is delightful, and I cannot wait to try out more of their products!
