⋆URBAN DECAY Moondust Eyeshadow Palette ⋆ REVIEW & SWATCHES

Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow Palette (retails for$49.00) is one of the most sparkling eyeshadow palettes on the market. It just screams glitters and vibrant colors. I hesitated on buying this palette when it first came out because I rarely use colorful shades even though I love sparkles. So I patiently waited for the palette to be on sale and it finally happened during the Sephora weekly wow. For half of its original price, this was an incredible deal.

The eyeshadow case is heavy and glittery with a full-sized mirror. The formula is a nice blend of pigmentation and glitter. The color pay off is sheerer when applied dry with a “glitter top coat” finish, and it is way more intense when used wet. The eyeshadows applied smoothly with little to no fallouts, and this quality differentiates the moondust eyeshadow from other brands’ glittery eyeshadow I have tried in the past. There is also a slight iridescent/color shifting texture due to the multi-colored glittered within the eyeshadows.

All these eyeshadow are stunning in person, and the still pictures could not capture their beauty.

I did three looks using the moondust palette, and I used all three shades wet with my eyelids primed with Urban Decay primer poison.

Overall, I think the moondust palette is a great find if you love colorful, glittery shades. However, it could also be a pass if you prefer more casual/practical shades for everyday use, then this palette might be a little too adventitious. At the end of the day, do whatever makes you happy and wear the makeup you feel most comfortable with!
